1. What do I need to use this Post Comment script?
In order to run Post Comment your web server needs to support PHP v4.1 or more, MySQL v3 or more and use JavaScript enabled browser.
2. Does it have installation script?
Yes, there is an installation script which will automatically install the Post Comment script for you. All you have to do is to edit it using text editing software such as notepad and set the correct login details for your MySQL server. The installation script will ask you to confirm the MySQL login details and if they are correct will create the MySQL database tables that it needs.
3. I cannot install it, can you please help me?
Yes, we offer free installation support. Please, make sure that your server supports PHP and MySQL before buying and trying to install the script.
4. Is it difficult to set up the Post Comment script? How do I do this?
Once you install the script all you have to do is to login your administration area and add a page name where you will put comments box. Once you do this an HTML code will be generated for you. You should put this HTML code on your web page where the comments box should be.
5. How does it all work?
Post Comment uses database to store all comments posted on your website. When you put a small JavaScript code on your web page it reads these comments and shows them on your web page. It cannot be simpler !
6. On how many websites can I use Post Comment?
You can install the script on as many web sites as you want. However, you cannot resell the script. If you want to sell this script please contact us and we will discuss all the options.
7. Can I install the script on a website and use it on another website?
Because of the Ajax technology used you should install the script on the website where you are going to use it.You cannot install the script on one domain name and use it on another one.
8. Can I change the comments font, color, size, borders, etc.?
Yes, using a simple CSS file you can change the appearance of your Post Comment script.
9. I want to approve comments posted before displaying them on my website. Can I do this?
Yes, using the administration page you can specify if comments should be first approved before posted on your website.
10. I want to block certain IP addresses and keywords used. Can I do it?
Yes, using the administration page you can create an IP and keyword ban list.
11. How do I change the username and password for my administration area?
You can edit the calendar-admin.php file using a plain text editing software such as notepad and change your login details.
12. Do you make custom changes?
Yes, we can make any change. If you need a custom change do not hesitate to contact us.
13. What is included with the package that I buy?
When buying the script you receive PHP source codes for it.
14. Do you offer a refund?
Before buying Post Comment please make sure that your web server supports PHP and MySQL. We sell the source codes for script and this is why we usually do not offer refunds. However, in special cases (for some reason unable to load the script on a server which supports PHP and MySQL) we issue refunds.
