1. What do I need to use this web poll?
In order to run the MySQL based PHP Web Poll your web server needs to support PHP v4 or more and MySQL v3 or more.
2. Does it have an installation script?
Yes, there is an installation script which will automatically install the PHP Web Poll for you. There is a step by step installation file included with the PHP Web Poll package.
3. I cannot install it, can you please help me?
Yes, we will install it for free. Please, make sure that your server supports PHP and MySQL before trying to install the script.
4. Is it difficult to create a web poll? How do I do this?
Once you install the web poll all you have to do is to login your administration area. Via a web form you can create a web poll and save it. Once you do this an HTML code will be generated for you. You should put this HTML code on your web page.
5. How many web polls can I have per page?
You can create unlimited amount of web polls. Each poll that you generate has its own unique HTML code which you should use.
6. On how many web sites can I use the poll?
You can install the web poll script on as many web sites as you want. However, you cannot resell the script. If you want to sell this script please contact us and we will discuss all the options.
7. Can I change the poll colors?
Yes, when you create a poll via the administration page you can set the colors that you want. The poll uses HTML color codes which you can also select using the small pop-up next to each color code box.
8. Can I change poll size?
PHP Web Poll dynamically calculates the size needed for the question and answers boxes. You can set its width and it will automatically calculate the height needed to fit the question and all the answers.
9. How do I change the username and password for my administration area?
You can edit the php-poll-admin.php file using a plain text editing software such as notepad and change your login details.
10. Do you make custom changes?
Yes, we can make any custom change that you may need. Such as: multi user login, detailed vote statistic, poll editing/deleting restrictions for different users, etc. If you need a custom change do not hesitate to contact us.
11. What is included with the package that I buy?
When buying the poll you receive - installation file, administration file, voting file and help.html file.
12. Do you offer a refund?
Before buying the poll please make sure that your web server supports PHP and MySQL. The administration area here and the web poll are absolutely the same as the ones that you are going to buy. We sell the source codes for the poll and this is why we do not offer refunds. However, in special cases (for some reason we are unable to load the poll on server which supports PHP and MySQL) we issue refunds.
