However one point could be improved: If two bookings don't have a gap in between, it is not visible, when the first one ends and the second one starts. I would suggest e.g. a black left border at the start and a black right border at the end of a booking bar. If you make this feature configurable (color, width, on/off) everybody could set it as desired.
Another feature would be a mouseover event in the front end calendar, which shows details of the booking (e.g. Name, Reservation ID, Price ...) in a Tooltip window.
